For decades, Prof. Saeed Ahmad has gathered, translated and printed the poetry of Punjab's great Sufi and folk voices — work that once lived mostly in oral recitation and out-of-print editions. Indus Wisdom exists to keep it in circulation: affordable, well-made books that a student, a shrine visitor or a grandmother telling stories at home can equally afford to own.
Titles are published in Punjabi, Urdu, English and even Esperanto, carrying the same verses to very different readers without losing what they meant to begin with.
